These notebook pages are part of a plan, for using your family Bible reading, for learning vocabulary, grammar, and creative writing.

Take turns reading in the Bible.
As you read look for words, you don't understand or would like to learn more about. Write in vocabulary notebook, and look up the meaning in a children's dictionary.
Then Pick the nouns, verbs, or whatever part of speech you are practicing for the month, from the reading. Write it in the grammar notebook.
Finally practice your writing assignment, in the writing notebook.

As students practice, have them take special note of any words that are new to them, spending alittle time studying them. Then after they are done with their work in the books, in a separate handwriting notebook, have them write the verse without looking. Grade it for correct spelling, and Bible. This way they are learning spelling, handwriting and Bible. With KJV having a vocabulary of over 12,000 words this is a good place to start. As they get older you may want to study more advanced, less used, words with greek and latin roots.
