MY STORY:
I got Desc' 1 shareware from CD in christmas '97. (Top Ten Megagames vol. 1) And the next year The Definitive Collection. Since the next January I've made stages.
The 1st one was called 'Watch Out!' to D1. It was really small and without curves. Even the exit corridor was a giant 'L'. And I planned to make a sequence to it! :D But when I was makin' a reactor chamber I pressed F9 and scared off. I didn't get any tail of it and deleted the whole stage. After that came Drillers...
It took 5(!!!) years to make it. (3 months in D2 version) Meanwhile I tried to e-mail to Descent Networks the solution o' D1 secret stage, but didn't get an answer. After that I visited Planet Descent, but registered after 1-2 years. And after it was closed to Descent net Bulletin Board.
MY PILOT NAME:
Where it comes? I read 'Descent' phonetically (c as in 'go'). Therefore, I abbreviate it to 'Desc' ', so the predicate from it is 'Descer'.
MY LANGUAGE:
Because English words 'you are' are both singulars and plurals, I use 'thou art' (thee, thy, thine, thou'rt, thyself) instead. If my texts sounds otherwise 'wrong', it's 'cause they're sometimes translated from outspoken Finnish. ;)
THIS SITE:
Originally it was 2 pages in English and a Finnish DOS game section. Nobody visited it, so I finally dumped it out and made this.
The site has resolution and screensize issues. In some reason I'm unable to fix those. (It was originally made in 4:3 ratio with Spacebar and Tab.) Links should work normally though. E-mail if if thou find anything.
The white background is intentional. There aren't any useless Flash animations nor wallpapers. Besides, I'll get more stages here that's how.
Number in parenthesis is secret stages. 'Stage' is a synonyme o' 'level'.
