Interview 1997 with French mime artist Marcel Marceau who has died at 84.
Marceau was born in Strasbourg, France, in 1923 and studied under mime master Etienne Decroux in Paris, view Decroux docdrama below. Marcel character Bip, the white-faced clown in striped pullover and hat, made his first appearance in 1947.
